Delightfully written, Jilly Cooper is witty and adds just enough sauciness to keep the book interesting. I love all of her books that I have read, but Appassionata has definitely been my favourite so far! I recommend reading them in order, as the characters weave in and out of each book and following their lives throughout is interesting and makes one feel like the characters are personal friends/acquaintances.
Oh, Jilly, you saucy wench! Another fun, fast & fabulous novel.

Plenty of action . Provided lots of insights of the musicians' world. Extremely good descriptions of good music. Rather moving love stories. Rather too many characters and names (some of them appeared in the very finale)
This is way over the top in melodramatic absurdity. The characters all sound alike, and the endless sex becomes pretty boring after a while. A bodice-ripper that made me want to rip up the book, if it weren't on my app.
As a classical music lover I did find the behind scenes of drama. ...encountered by the characters some what intriguing. However, found the story line too drawn out. Nice intent by author but in my view missed substance.
