This is the second book in the series of the "Cosy Teashop in the Castle." I enjoyed the first book and the introduction of the characters. The Cosy Christmas Teashop was also a fun read. I enjoy Robert's descriptions of the baking and the main character's development as a professional baker. This is what attracted me to the story. This particular novel focuses on wedding planning which did not interest me as much. The castle in the story has gotten into the wedding business in order to remain financially viable. The author focused a lot on descriptions of the wedding preparations and I felt it was too much the focus in this book. It didn't have the same feel as the first book where you read about the main character being a good home baker and wanting to branch out on her own. The last third of the book was more interesting as the Christmas time wedding took place and the focus went back to the main characters and how their lives turned out in the end. I do look forward to a third book in the series if it is in the works.

Loved this book. Couldn't wait to keep picking it up. Just enough twists and turns that you couldn't guess which way the story would turn next. Ms Roberts tied up all the storylines so you weren't left wondering what happened to some of the characters. This book was well written and moves at a fairly fast pace.
The characters in this book carried over from the first one. Amazing details in the baking and how the castle is adorned for all the outings it hosts. Hilarious description of a bridezilla! Recipes please for the lemon drizzle cake would have been awesome!
A formula novel that was a fun read on a cold winters day. Nice story that takes you into present day Northern England. These characters are carried over from another novel and they are delightful and engaging. The characters are believable and the story line, though simple, is carried through the whole novel. I love these kinds of quick read for a Saturday snow day.
The Cozy Christmas Tea Shop was a delight to read on a warm spring day! So exciting as a Christmas wedding is planed , with a little sadness thrown in, as well as a great surprise snow storm. I enjoyed the read!
I loved this book from beginning to end. Now I'm going to go back and read the first book in the series and then hope that there will be many more. The only thing that I like better would be to actually be able to visit this beautiful castle and meet these characters who have become so real to me. A thoroughly enjoyable book!
There was something about this book that kept me reading till finish even though it is not my genre' at all. Our girl was a tireless wonder. I don't know if it was humanly possible to do all that baking and cooking. Not to mention wedding planning for the castle. Joe, her husband, and estate manager, helped her bring the estate out of dire financial difficulties. He is a gem. The kitchen and castle employees were all likeable. I recommend reading the first castle tea room BOOK as this is the sequel.
i really enjoyed this story and getting to know all the characters personally. Glad the sex scenes were not long or explicit..the hint was all I needed to understand the closeness.
I am inspired to do some cooking too...would love some of the recipes.
